NEIL'S JOURNEY
Neil studied biology at Queen's University before moving to Alberta and earning a Ph.D. in plant chemistry at the University of Calgary. Neil worked as a researcher in Perth, Australia and Dijon, France before accepting a professorship in Canada where he also served two terms as a university Vice President of Research and Innovation. Neil has managed his own research lab for over two decades and continues to operate laboratory facilities to direct research with a particular focus on plant biochemistry and genomics. Neil helped to co-found ProLytics as a means to extend his expertise to outside industries. Neil is proud to support projects and companies like ProLytics that provide employment opportunities to scientists in the Peterborough region.
